"My artwork is diverse. In the space of a week I could be reflecting on a walk along the cliffs in Cornwall, on a wet stormy winters day. Capturing lost memories of childhood viewing the Isle of Arran from my bedroom window, with the sun setting behind its mountains. To the impact of a headline in a newspaper depicting war torn Darfur, and the faces of the children haunt me. This then inspires me to capture their pain on canvas. The love of music, especially the sounds of Jazz create colours in my head and paintings are produced."

"I am currently studying for a Masters in Fine Art at BCU Birmingham Institute Of Art & Design, working on a series called 'my story' using a number of different media. A story journeying through deep depression, where the soul has darkened, the mind is sick and all desire to create and live has diminished. To the joy of being alive and seeing through the storms of life to the calmness and tranquility of a well mind."
